Okey founded InStrat Global Health Solutions in 2010 to focus on Global Health Innovation by identifying and deploying mobile health solutions using SMS, 3G, and Satellite information delivery technologies.
Under his leadership, InStrat has emerged as Nigeria’s leading mobile health technology company with services including primary health care facility management, mobile health worker training, electronic disease surveillance, and satellite internet access to off-net facilities. Prior to InStrat, Okey spent over a decade in leadership positions in global life sciences industry leaders – Pfizer Inc., and Novartis. Okey’s prior career was in investment banking with JP Morgan Chase and Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (Africa). Okey holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Columbia Business School, New York.
In addition, he serves on the Boards of Trustees of multiple NGOs including the Oando Foundation and The Christopher Okigbo Foundation, and the Business Development Manager of The HealthZone Nigeria.
