Dr. Chike-Obi is an American trained and Board Certified Pediatrician with over 25 years experience practicing in the United States.
She is the Co-Founder/Medical Director of HealthCore Ltd., producer of the groundbreaking Nigerian Television health program, The HealthZone, which aired on Channels TV in Nigeria, U.K. and Kenya. She is the Editor of The HealthZone Blog and is passionate about improving health literacy among people in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is also the Medical Director of The HealthZone Wellness Initiative, the NGO arm of HealthCore, which is focused on building community health capacity among vulnerable groups in Nigeria.She was a physician at Morristown Medical Center, the top ranking tertiary care center in New Jersey. From 2006 – 2011 she was in private pediatric practice and also the New York Tri-State Area Chapter Executive Director of HOPE worldwide, an International NGO. Shewas co-founder and president of Milestones Pediatric Group, a large multi-ethnic pediatric practice in suburban New Jersey from 1990 – 2005.
